In order to add an evince link to your cache page, you must mark the descriptions below are in HTML check-box on the cache edit page. When you do this, the system expects that your cache descriptions will use HTML tags for formatting. This utility performs a simple conversion for plain-text cache page descriptions, so you won't lose your page formatting. Left and right angle brackets < > will be convert to the appropriate HTML entity codes. Double line-breaks will be replaced with the <p> tag, and single line-breaks will be replaced with the <br> tag. This is generally all that is required to convert plain-text so that it can be used in HTML mode in cache pages.
